It's time to elect our 2018 Management Committee...
As a not for profit organisation the operation of our preschool is a partnership between staff and the management committee. Our management committee is made of four positions - President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
Almost all of our current committee are families who no longer have children at preschool so they will be resigning from their positions. This means that we need interested people from our current families to consider taking on a role for this year.
The role of the management committee is varied and ranges from supporting the Director with policy development, staffing, and other administrative tasks to organising fundraisers, marketing and social events. There are no specific skills or qualifications we are looking for simply people who are passionate about helping the preschool and who have time to take on tasks and roles.
To be able to fulfil a role on the management committee there are a few requirements that need to be met for the Department of Education. A detailed application form needs to be submitted to the Department of Education to access your propriety along with a Criminal History Check and you will need to apply for a Working with Children Check.

Our AGM is on Tuesday 8th May at 6.00pm where new members will be voted and positions filled. Please let us know if you are interested in a position but are unable to attend the meeting.
