You can now recycle your household batteries at Wollondilly Shire Council.

You can now recycle household batteries at Council. This service is free for the community and is designed to divert batteries from landfill. It is estimated over 300 million household batteries are disposed in landfill each year. Used batteries are a hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with general household waste. You can recycle your batteries at any of the below drop-off locations available to residents of the Macarthur Region: • Camden Council Civic Centre- 70 Central Ave, Oran Park • Camden Library - 40 John St, Camden • Narellan Library - Corner Queen & Elyard Streets, Narellan • Campbelltown City Council Civic Centre - Cnr Queen and Broughton Streets, Campbelltown • HJ Daley Library - 1 Hurley St, Campbelltown • Greg Percival Library - Corner Oxford and Cumberland Roads, Ingleburn • Wollondilly Shire Council - 62-64 Menangle Street, Picton • Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living - 1 Mount Annan Dr, Mount Annan This program is designed for household batteries identified as AAA, AA, C, D and 9 Volt. Provided the batteries are household sizes, any chemistry type (Alkaline, Super Heavy Duty, Lithium or Rechargeable) brand is acceptable.
